Attractive GPRS Plans!

Here I've listed few GPRS plans of various telecom operators which are attractive.


Airtel:

• Rs 45 recharge:30 talktime+100MB FREE for a month( useful if you are browsing only in cell and you want talktime ).
• 98Rs recharge with 2GB usage for 30days.

Use Mobile Office settings as default.

Tata Docomo:

• Recharge for Rs48 per month get 2GB usage.
• 15Rs for 3days(Here there is 500MB cap which is enough i think for 3 days).

To get Internet settings SMS INTERNET to 52270 and activate it as default.

Vodafone:

• Rs 95 recharge for 1month unlimited usage.
• Rs 16 recharge for 3 days unlimited usage.

To activate Unlimited GPRS sms ACT GPRS to 144 (toll-free).

Idea:
 Rs 98 E-recharge for 30days
daily usage:100MB cap
Monthly usage: 3GB
Post free usage 2 paisa per KB

Idea shouldn't have put daily cap of 100MB!Sad..

Note:Above offers are for Karnataka circle. They may not apply to other circles.

Videocon:

• Rs 96 recharge per month, unlimited usage without any fair usage policy. Applicable in Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Haryana.

Note: There maybe fair usage policy in few operators. Confirm it with your telecom operator!

I use both Airtel and Docomo GPRS along with the broadband, Docomo offers greater speed than Airtel, since Docomo supports EDGE in all areas whereas Airtel supports EDGE in some areas only. I get around 200-250Kbps speed in Docomo.

Bottom Line: Tata Docomo undoubtely provides cheaper and faster GPRS access compared to other telecom operators!
